Project highlight · Austin, Texas
This project was a true test of grit.
Unique room types, changing field conditions, and a fixed hospitality deadline demanded constant problem-solving. The work was difficult. The opening date still had to hold.

Opening date metThe challenge
It was not straightforward—and the deadline did not move.
The property included unique room types and a mix of guestroom, suite, meeting-room, restaurant, amenity, and specialty conditions. Manual and motorized treatments, sheers, blackout shades, drapery, roller shades, and privacy dividers all had to be coordinated across different openings and uses.
Custom fabrication brings variables that only become fully visible as rooms, hardware, and finished conditions come together. This installation required the team to keep solving, adjusting, and moving without losing sight of the final date.
What execution required
Room by room. System by system. Deadline first.
Guestrooms, suites, penthouse conditions, meeting rooms, and public spaces each brought a different relationship between glass, furnishings, and treatment operation.
Manual and motorized shades, sheers, blackout, drapery, roller shades, and specialty privacy conditions required clear decisions in both documentation and the field.
Field clarifications, added conditions, and fabrication variables were addressed in sequence so the work could finish successfully on time.
Finished project
Complex conditions, resolved into calm rooms.
Across guestrooms and shared spaces, the finished treatments soften daylight, manage privacy, and preserve the broad downtown views.
The hospitality standard
The opening date is the metric that matters.
The obstacles were real, but they did not become the outcome. Tri-Tex navigated the field conditions, kept the work moving, and completed the project successfully on time.
